Day One: Let's wake up 30 minutes earlier and go to bed 1 hour earlier!
A good nights rest is essential to a healthy lifestyle. You may have partied last night on New Year's Eve - drank a little too much, celebrated a little too late. Let's all go to bed one hour earlier than we would have otherwise. If you usually go to bed at midnight, dial it back to 11. If you have a show that you just have to watch that comes on after your earlier bedtime, set the DVR (or the VCR if that is how you roll) or check to see if it comes on again on another day.
You would be surprised how much you can get done in 30 minutes early in the morning. Set your clock to wake you up 30 minutes earlier. Take the time to take an extra long shower, polish your nails (or give yourself a decent shave if you are a guy), or spend some time in prayer, meditation, or reflection.
