Day Fifty Three: Future You
Having something to look forward to - a goal to strive for is a fantastic way to keep your mind healthy and your outlook optimistic. There are several ways that you can keep your future in mind, and remind you to work on your present so that you can meet those goals. Here are three of my favorites.
Pinterest: If you are looking forward to redecorating, going on vacation, reworking your wardrobe, Pinterest is a great place to start. It is an online pin board that lets you grab images from around the web - share them - and pin them to your own board to remind you of what you are shooting for.
Write your "Future" bio: Who do you WANT to be? A writer, singer, actress, manager, business owner? Write your bio the way that you would want it to be read 1 year, 5 years, and 10 years from now. Keep it somewhere that you can get to it to revise it and check it to make sure that you are on track to becoming who you want to be.
Set goals: Set clear short term goals for yourself. You can set goals for how many books you want to read in a month, or how many calories you want to burn in a day. Make sure they are clear, and easy find and review on a daily basis. You can keep them on your phone in a to do list or on your fridge.
