First tings first…

The following will get your account suspended, banned, or deleted:

• Over the top profanity directed at another user or anyone
• Personal attacks of any kind
• Threats
• Meaningless posts and other nonsense
• Posting the same thing in more than one place
• Advertising where prohibited
• Spamming or harassment of any kind
• Discussion of illegal activities
• Links to pornographic, gambling, or illegal websites in posts or signatures
• Registering multiple accounts
• Bashing of other websites or communities
• Posting identifying information on other members (ie. Facebook pages or posts, address, phone number, etc.)
• Affiliate or referral links in posts or signatures
• Advertisements for contests in posts or signatures or where otherwise prohibited
• Offensive avatars
• Impersonation of others
• Pornographic images (it is understood that many album covers can by borderline – please use your discresion and best judgement when posting overtly sexual images.)

The site owners and moderators reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice, to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the Socamom.com forums are not disrupted or abused, remove posts that are not in English if they do not have a full English translation, and ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.

Advertising and Solicitation

We do not allow members to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited, unless permission is requested and granted. There are areas for showcasing events, and promoting businesses. Posting solicitations in other areas is prohibited.

Moderation

Members may be invited to become forum moderators, or chosen by the site owners.  Moderators will try to keep objectionable messages, images, and solicitations out of their boards, but it is up to the community to report offensive material or other activities that violate the forum rules.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or that otherwise violate any laws.

The owners of Socamom.com reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.
