Today is going to be another long one, so here’s my list… all early!

Knowing today is going to be long, I opted for coffee instead of tea.  I was sent some Organic Mystic Morning by Marley Coffee to test out, so I decided to get brewing and “stir it up!” (You liked that, didn’t you…. a little bit corny – but I couldn’t help myself.)

I am not a huge coffee drinker, but of the coffees that I have had, this is one of my favorites.  I shared it with the moms at my Caribbean Moms of Pre-Schoolers meetup, and it was gone before I knew it – must have been good. For me, it wasn’t too strong, woke me up without making me feel “shaken”, and smelled really good (see how technical I am?).  For those of you who need real coffee speak, it is described as a, “… vibrant, medium-bodied coffee proudly displays cocoa, cinnamon & spice flavors, along with a sparkling acidity that will help “straighten out your today.”

That about summed it up.

That’s why I dipped into my Marley Coffee stash today.  I need to straighten out my today before it even gets started.  Now, on to my reading!

@brothatech on Twitter – http://brothatech.com – this was one from last night, but it counts, because technically, it was before 10 am… Commented on the mi-fi vs hotspot.  I have tried both, and definitely love the hotspot.  Great thing is, you can charge your phone via USB if you are using your laptop, and just find a plug to charge that.  That’s what I do anyway – the hotspot does use up my battery.

@treschicstyle on Twitter – http://www.treschicstyle.net – I read a few of her posts today and yesterday.  Commented yesterday on the much talked about Michelle Obama dress for her DNC speech.  Just lurked this morning to see if I missed anything.

@independentmami on Twitter – http://www.independentmami.net/ – Been thinking about running for a while.  I get the Black Girls Run invitations on Facebook all the time, but I always have an excuse not to go.  Along with all of her blogging activities and a baby, she still managed to “do something.” Alas, I have not.  If her husband can run a race at 7:30 after getting off work at 6, I guess I have no excuse.

@travelermom on Twitter – http://www.thetravelingpraters.com/ – When, oh when will I be a grown up and take the kids to someplace amazing that they will never forget, like Niagara Falls?  Since I am homeschooling, I really should be taking my kids to more amazing places.  Maybe this year.  She has a really good guide to Niagara Falls, so I guess I could put it on the schedule… for next year… maybe.

Yesterday I read her take on religion.  Today her post took me back to prep school literature class with her Robert Frost reference. I met her a while back, followed her on the spot, and have been listening in ever since.  Mostly lurking – but listening anyhow.

@reignofapril on Twitter – http://reignofapril.blogspot.com/ – So, I was so busy reading her tweets, that I hadn’t checked out her blog.  I whole heartedly agree with her post on Tyler Perry as Alex Cross.  I will have to see that one to believe it.  On DVD. Or Netflix.  Either way, I doubt it will cost me more than a few bucks.

@curvy_ceo on Twitter – http://www.curvyceo.com – Horizontal stripes you say? Hmmm… well, I am wearing horizontal stripes right now… but it is what I slept in, so – I don’t think that counts.  The photos make it look do-able, cute even, but I’ll definitely have to take a pic and get votes on that look before I make it a fall staple.  Maybe I’ll go get something that I don’t mind giving away if it doesn’t flatter my bigger figure.

@urchicisshowing on Twitter – http://yourchicisshowing.com/ – I called yesterday and my glasses won’t be ready until next week… ugh!  I was hoping to debut them sooner rather than later.  I have gone all in with my thicker frames (you’ll see!).  She got hers at H&M, but I can’t see, so mine are form and fashion.  Seeing the glasses in her post made me want to call America’s Best at o’ dark thirty and ask them if mine had arrived yet.

@bridgetteLA on Twitter – http://www.thenotsoblog.com – My husband would be proud… they are a Saints family! If I remember, I’ll ask where she got the pink Saints jerseys from.

@byemily on Twitter – http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/ – I had been here before, but thanks to @urchicisshowing’s blog roll, I checked it out again… As usual, stunning images.  I just have to find out how she finds a time when DC streets are empty enough for her to take those wonderful photos!
