The first time I was absolutely sure, was after I spent a few hours in court with my dad. A young man who was on trial for possession of marijuana came to court with the actual substance in his pocket. My dad walked up to the judge, said a few words, and the guy left a free man.<\/p>\n<p>Related:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/socamom.com\/w\/congratulations-now-go-back-to-being-a-mom-2\/\">\u201cCongratulations. Now you can go back to being a mom.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m not sure how he did it or what he said, but that was his job.<\/strong> His job was to help people get another chance (whether they deserved it or not, apparently), and he got to do that every day.
