I don’t know if you know it, but I LOVE making things. \u00a0Yep, on top of everything else – I’m crafty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I got the message that my friend was having a baby girl, I immediately volunteered to do her baby shower… almost 500 miles away. I was warned that her friends were super talented, crafty folks, so I was going to have to bring my A game. \u00a0I think it came out pretty well! \u00a0Here was one of my greatest hits from the weekend… BABY’S FIRST ALPHABET BOOK – STARRING US!<\/p>\n

What you will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Letters – $3.99 each at Michael’s<\/p>\n

Feathered boas – About $8 (you can also borrow them from a friend or your daughter if she is into dress up)<\/p>\n

Hats – prices vary. \u00a0I got mine out of my closet, but you can also ask guests to bring a hat or other props that reflect their personality<\/p>\n

Backdrop – I got 2.5 yards of t-shirt material and 2.5 yards of tulle. \u00a0I was traveling, so it needed to be something that didn’t require ironing…<\/p>\n
