Fill it about 1\/4 full of water.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the lime on the counter, then cut it in half. \u00a0Pour salt onto the cut side of the lime. \u00a0You may need both sides, you may not.<\/li>\n<li>Pull the lime apart some by putting your finger in the center and pulling slightly.<\/li>\n<li>Then scrub the chicken with the cut side of the lime and the salt. \u00a0You will see the slime and yellow stuff (see photos) roll away.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rinse the chicken.<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I do this with cut and whole chicken. \u00a0If I will be removing the skin before cooking it, I remove the skin first, then clean it.<\/p>\n<ul> <\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1436\" \u00a0It is important that the lime\/lime juice is cold so that the salt does not dissolve. \u00a0In the images, I was using just the juice and salt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is this how you were taught to
