I realized that I visit about 10 blogs before 10 am every morning, so the new name of my post series is 10 by 10. Oh how I love all things catchy.<\/p>\n

Breakfast today was all kindsa wrong. \u00a0Yep, that is a pool of butter that my grits covered in American, pasteurized, processed, cheese substitute are floating in. \u00a0Nice. \u00a0While I ate my grits, and sipped my Earl Grey – these are the blogs I checked out today…. Awww shoot! That rhymes. \u00a0I am on it this morning.<\/p>\n

@JonathanPearson on Twitter – http:\/\/jonathanpearson.net\/<\/a> – His message to pastors today was short, sweet, and to the point. \u00a0Here’s what I had to say in my comment.<\/p>\n

“Thank you! I hope that pastors are listening. The pastor talks each week for at least a minute or two about how much he loves, needs, appreciates, and trusts his wife. At that part of the service, no matter what’s going on, my husband holds my hand just a little tighter. I hope that pastors know that what they do and say means a whole lot.”<\/p>\n

@_michsi_ on Twitter –\u00a0http:\/\/eatstyleplay.com\/<\/a> – Her blog has gotten a makeover since I visited it last, and I love it! She and a team of fashion bloggers were part of a style challenge, and they used some beautiful printed jeans on their model. \u00a0This wasn’t her most recent post, but those jeans caught my eye. Here’s what I said.<\/p>\n

“Those jeans are fabulous… and the shoes – nice job!”<\/p>\n

@1stladey on Twitter – http:\/\/confessionsofhomeschoolingmom.blogspot.com<\/a> – I see this blogger out and about, and seeing how much she loves and encourages her kids is inspiring. \u00a0Today, I read her review of the book Princess Peepers. I told her in the comments that in our house, glasses are a source of envy, not teasing! My baby girl wants glasses so badly. \u00a0She’s decided to settle for fake ones though…<\/p>\n

@biculturalmama on Twitter – http:\/\/www.biculturalmama.com<\/a> – I read her review of an Asian cookbook. \u00a0Read her post about learning to cook, and you’ll see its not just me – when you learn from a mom or grandmom, nobody measures!<\/p>\n

<\/a>“This is my first visit to your blog! I am a first generation American too – married to a full on American guy as well. My cousin is teaching me to cook the way my aunt and uncle taught here, and measuring is just a joke! All of the food you described sounds amazing… definitely sounds like a cookbook my husband would enjoy…”<\/p>\n

“My husband and I often talk about the difference between just having talent and being successful. The clincher is usually drive – in other words “hustle”! I wouldn’t say I was a “hustler” though – makes me think of the wild west, cards, and swindling people… I would say I am driven.”<\/p>\n

“We battle over his version of clean, and my version of clean. Well, not battle really. I give him points for trying. I do the same thing with the toilet paper… and he can’t stand it! Still giggling about the eye doctor – didn’t see that coming.”<\/p>\n

@strawberricurls on Twitter – http:\/\/strawberricurls.com<\/a> – I admit it. I enjoy a little bloggy celebrity chatter every now and then. \u00a0Read a post about Naomi Campbell’s hairline… or lack thereof.<\/p>\n

“I just started wearing my hair the way that it grows out of my scalp about a year ago. I can’t say that I feel bad for her – I may have all my hair, but she can wear that bikini. When I had a healthier body weight, I used to cover everything up – now I HAVE to. I am sure she used to have hair, and she chose to cover it up – now SHE has to… Guess you really “don’t know what you’ve got ’til its gone.”<\/p>\n

@nicdash on Twitter –\u00a0http:\/\/www.tinystepsmommy.com<\/a> – My daughter just lost both her front teeth, so her post with her son’s missing fronts caught my eye. \u00a0Here’s what I said about my boys.<\/p>\n

“My sons are six years apart, and their relationship keeps changing. At first, my oldest loved his chubby cheeks, and inability to share his toys. Now, they bond over soccer games and just being generally competitive. I look forward to seeing how their relationship changes over the years.”<\/p>\n

@teach_preschool \u00a0on Twitter – http:\/\/www.teachpreschool.org<\/a> – So many things to do with cans. \u00a0I never played kick the can, but there are lots of things I didn’t do that my kids do now, so we’ll see. Here’s my comment.<\/p>\n

“I homeschool 3 kids, so I am always looking for creative ways for them to do things together. I am going to keep checking your site for more ideas on what I can do with cans. Kicking myself for not saving last night’s cans. Wait… I think I made a funny.”<\/p>\n
