Every soca music lover and Asylum \u00a0Family fans want to know just how Fay-Ann Lyons and Bunji Garlin manage to work together as artists, parents, and husband and wife. \u00a0After their performances at the Caribbean Fever Irie Jamboree Music Festival’s Carnival Mania Night during Labor Day Weekend at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, they talked to us about that and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>In Part 1, we found out Fay-Ann Lyons and Bunji Garlin’s special “Formula” to keep their soca family “Ready for the Road”.<\/a> The soca mom told us that if her daughter plans to follow in her famous parents footsteps, it must be “school first.” So, what is it like for the soca dad, Bunji Garlin, to see his daughter on stage? In part two of this interview with these soca superstars, Bunji Garlin shares his take on which performing parent contributed most to their daughter’s undeniable love for the stage. He also offers advice to parents on passing down more than just their talent to their kids.<\/p>\n
