Tonight I attended the Caribbean American Heritage Awards in DC produced by the Institute of Caribbean Studies. The beautiful Caribbean people of the Washington, DC area and beyond came out to celebrate Caribbean achievement, eat, drink, and be merry.
Love that honorees are thanking their #Caribbean moms and dads for focusing in education and unwavering support. #CARAH #Parenting

So many of the honorees thanked their parents for their love and focus on education. Love it!
@JAYBLESSED You know @etiennejazz had to shout out his mom… So cool! Just like the Super Bowl… Momma gets thanks first. #CARAH
