Thanksgiving 2013: One Lucky Gyal

I’ve been doing this for two years now, and I still have a hard time believing that THIS is what I do.  If someone told me 15 years ago when I graduated from college that I would have three kids and be a Caribbean American parenting blogger, the author of a children’s book, and a member of the StepSisters – I’d have told them that they were lying… then probably asked them, “what is a blog, and what the heck is YouTube?” It’s not that I’m that old… It’s just that the technology is that young.

You just never know who you will be, where you will be, and what you will become, so I have chosen to be thankful for who I am, where I am, and what I am right this very minute.

We recently did a Thanksgiving show on The StepSisters Google Hangout and we had two amazing Caribbean bloggers join us as guests – Jamie from JayBlessed.com and Alysia from RewindandComeAgain.com.  We talked about what we were thankful for, family food, and more.
