Obama and Romney aren’t the only ones campaigning this month.  The Black Weblog Awards has been taking nominations for the best websites authored by people of color – nominations are closed but voting is now open!

SocaMom.com is nominated for Best New Blog and Best Parenting Blog. There are a lot of nominees, so here is a tip to help you find where to vote – hold down control and the letter f after you go to the website to vote – here – and type in “socamom”, and then enter.  This find feature will help you find any instances of “Socamom” on the page, and you can click the button next to it to vote.

There are some great blogs on the list, and I have already voted for my favorites.  You don’t have to complete the whole ballot, but I hope that you will vote for those you know and read, AND for SocaMom.com.

Voting is open until October 1, 2012.  I wouldn’t advise waiting though – takes just a couple of seconds.  Thanks for your vote!
