If you’re on our Facebook page, you know that we have a GREAT time at Thanksgiving discussing what it is like to celebrate in the United States. In the US, Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday in November. In the Caribbean, American Thanksgiving isn’t a “thing.” But for Caribbean people living in America, it is less about pilgrims and Native Americans, and more about getting together to pre-game for Christmas. You may not find turkey on the table, but you will find macaroni pie, curry goat, jerk chicken, and other favorites depending on the island your family comes from.
