The Mickey Mouse ears are the most recognizable symbol of Disney Parks. A pair of ears on a Minnie Mouse Headband or a Mickey Mouse cap are a must have on a visit to Disneyland or Disney World. You can get all kinds of ears – happy birthday ears, ears with sequins, bride and groom ears, princess ears, cheetah print ears… you get the picture.
Every day at Disney theme parks all over the world, there are parades… parades with lots of music, elaborate costumes, people dancing in the street, and crowds of kids and adults taking in the splendid display. Sounds a lot like Caribbean Carnival, right? So I decided that it would only be right for me, as a Caribbean mom, to show my Disney Side with Minnie Mouse Caribbean Carnival Headpieces!
I’ll be hosting an arts and crafts party as part of the #DisneySide @ Home Celebration, but I want all of my readers to be able to get in on the fun! Disney Parks and Mom Select sent me some amazing things for hosting a Disney Side party. I wish that all of you could make it. I know that everyone can’t be there, so I will be posting Disney themed arts and crafts tutorials from now until the party on February 15th. Subscribe to my videos on Youtube.com so that you don’t miss any new tutorials. Take photos and tweet them to @socamomdc with the hashtag #DisneySide for a chance to win a prize. You can also participate on Instagram. Tag @socamom in your photo, and use the hashtag #DisneySide. I’ll be choosing a winner on February 16th, so get your imagination going and start clicking!
