Trinidad and Tobago became a nation independent of the United Kingdom in 1962. This year, Trinidad and Tobago celebrates 50 years of independence.
Trinidad and Tobago 50th Anniversary Celebration, Jammin in the Park, is a free day festival to be held on August 18, 2012 at 10 Water Street, SE in Washington DC from 12 PM to 7 PM. KES, Destra, Benjai, Sparrow, and Raymond Ramnarine will be performing live.
There will be music by Jugglers, Foreign Bass, Hazzard, Spyda, Fyah Oats, Ghost, Maga, Majestic, Super Slice, Audi O Mixerz, DJ Wonda, and Sprang International.
