Baggage Claim Opens September 27th

Meet the International Cast of David E. Talbert’s Baggage Claim

Baggage Claim might be about a whirlwind of domestic flights in the US, but to get to the homelands of many members of the cast, you’ll definitely need a passport.

Baggage Claim Opens September 27th

I was invited to see an advance screening of Baggage Claim by the wonderful folks over at Liquid Soul Media.  Guyanese American Derek Luke was scheduled to attend the Baltimore screening with writer, producer, and director, David E. Talbert, but there was a change of plans.  Wouldn’t THAT have been awesome?  So you know I try to give you the full run down on movies including the Caribbean cast to look out for, so here we go… make sure your seatbelts are fastened, your tray tables are secure, and your seat is in its upright position. Leh we go!

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I had just seen one of David E. Talbert’s plays on BET, and I remember thinking…. Uh oh, Tyler Perry.  Mr. Talbert is coming for your wig. Going into the theater, I knew it may have been Tyler Perry-ish because of the subject, cast, and well… previews.  I also expected it to be better than his movies after seeing his play.  It definitely was.  For the full review, what I loved, didn’t love, who should check it out, and more, read the full review on my blog, EvaLoves.com.

Determined to get engaged before her youngest sister’s wedding, flight attendant Montana Moore (Paula Patton) finds herself with only 30 days to find Mr. Right. Using her airline connections to “accidentally” meet up with eligible ex-boyfriends and scour for potential candidates, she racks up more than 30,000 miles and countless comedic encounters, all the while searching for the perfect guy.

So who do we need to look out for? Grab your passport… we’ll start in the Caribbean.
