This was my second year attending BlogHer, and I was much more comfortable (and productive) at this year’s conference in Chicago.  I went with the group that I vlog with (youtube.com/stepsistersblog), and we had such a great time making videos, talking, laughing (a lot), eating, sleeping (a little), and of course, like at all BlogHer conferences… drinking.

I’m referring to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There were several alcohol related companies in the Expo hall, but I spent most of the time drinking water and going to the bathroom.  Those of you who saw my pre-conference video know that I had a little asthma issue (like any breathing issue is little – they’re not) before I left, so my alcohol consumption was pitiful in comparison to the recommended daily intake for a BlogHer conference attendee.

I did, however, try out the Daily’s Cocktail’s Bahama Mama. I couldn’t help it! I mean, I am basically the only person in the whole conference of 5000+ women who blogs specifically about Caribbean parenting – and this drink is called the “Bahama Mama”… right? Anybody see how this is totally justified drinking? No? Don’t judge me.

So, I’m notorious for not drinking alcohol on camera… do you think the camera-lady (wine and spirits blogger Tanisha from GirlMeetsGlass.Tumblr.com) caught me sipping? We’ll see…
