Many people who have responded are spending the holidays outside of the Caribbean, but still plan to give their Christmas celebrations the island treatment with sorrel, black cake, roasted pork, ponche creme, and pastelles.
Pastelles are a favorite of mine at Christmas time, and I often put them in the freezer so that I can have a little Christmas… after Christmas!
