Have you seen Nia Long lately? This Caribbean American mom is keeping beautiful, and keeping busy with her new movie The Single Moms Club.

I remember single motherhood – and how hard it was to get from breakfast to bedtime on my own. I am interested to see how the cast is able to inject humor into a situation that can be so frustrating.

Nia Long and her son Massai are part of an ensemble cast in this movie about life and love as a single mom. Long told Essence, “I was so nervous Massai wouldn’t get the job. I didn’t want to have to break disappointing news, so I explained to him that as long as he gave it his best that’s all that mattered.”

The Single Moms Club opens on March 14th.
