[Pink?] diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but a party on a private Caribbean island will do. Gossip Pond reports that Kanye West has chosen Pine Cay, a private island in Turks and Caicos, as the setting for an extravagant million dollar birthday bash for girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
The rapper has been working closely with the reality star’s family to make sure the celebration is perfect, as he knows getting older is a sore subject for his lady love. “Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so he [Kanye] wants to make this extra-special,” a source divulged to The Sun.
What exactly constitutes “extra special” to the “Gold Digger” lyricist? Apparently the 35-year-old Grammy winner has arranged a five-star hotel chef to prepare their meals, in addition to dropping insane amounts of money of extravagant gifts like a special edition Prada bag, pink diamond bracelet, and a couture Chanel dress. Since it’s her first birthday since they got together as a couple, Mr. West wants to make sure it’s one the brunette beauty never forgets! “Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he’s pulling out all the stops with presents,” the source adds.
