Remember these?

Showed my kids how to make these thanks to One Shot Joe (@1shotjoe on Twitter) and his Instagram photo. Now my husband and I have been inundated with requests to, “Pick a color!”

I have to get more into playing with the kids – I do better with it when I can play with them one at a time, because they work so hard to have my attention all at the same time, which can be overwhelming for me, and disappointing for them.

So this weekend, I have been told by Mr. Social that we have an “appointment.” I have “Hang Out Day” with each one of the kids a couple times a month, so that they can get that individual attention.  It is amazing to see how different they are when it’s just the two of us.  They are actually MUCH quieter because they don’t feel like they have to talk over one another to get my attention.

Baby Girl promptly told Mr. Social, that he couldn’t have a hangout day with me, because she had already “booked” me.

I really do love those younguns.  I mean – who needs cable?
