Question: Growing up, how were you treated when you cried about something? Not if you were in pain, but other things – like being picked on, hurt feelings, inequalities and favoritism at school/home, etc. Were your tears met with hugs, comforting gestures (ah plate ah food), or harsh words (yuh full ah foolishness/schupidness)?
How did that change you?
Did the way that you were treated effect the way that you treat others at work or at home?
Do you feel that it made you more or less likely to share your feelings with others?
