[VIDEO] Review of PlayMonster’s Qubosity

My teenager is now at the grown up table for game night! We put the little ones to bed and checked out PlayMonster‘s Qubosity for game night. The game is for three or more players, ages 14 and up. Check out the video below to see how it went.

We really do have a closet full of board games. When people watched the Justin Bieber parody video and saw all those games, they asked me, “do you guys REALLY have that many games?” Yes. Yes we do. Now we have added Qubosity by PlayMonster.  As part of my partnership with PlayMonster, we received Qubosity and compensation in order to do this review video.

We all had a good time with this one.  I would say that the categories are for 14 and up because when the topic is “body parts” and the letter is “v” – there are only so many places that the answer will go. Also, a 10 year old may not be able to think of a “blog topic” that starts with “s” so the game could end up with the youngest players being the losers every time.

My teen probably would have had more fun playing with his friends because he’d feel more comfortable giving any answer that he wanted around them, but not necessarily with us.

Make sure you read the directions carefully before you play. The game is relatively easy to learn, but little things matter. For example, you should play on carpet or some other soft surface. We played on a table, and boy was it loud!

Overall we had a good time and we’ll be playing it again with our friends. You can get it at Toys R Us, or go to PlayMonster.com for more information.
